Model Shoot: Emily
Ever since seeing some really cool boxing photos on Flickr I have wanted to do a boxing themed shoot. As luck would have it, a model I was talking with on Model Mayhem, was interested in doing fitness related shots. I met up with Emily this last Sunday on the UK campus to take some workout/fitness photos in a gym. We set up and did a bunch of photos with her doing a variety of exercises and poses. They turned out great, despite the indoor lighting that always tends to give things an orange tint. After the gym photos, we headed downtown to do the boxing shots. We wandered around some back alleys and managed to find a bunch of great locations that provided a rich and urban background to the photos, giving them that extra edge and toughness. Below are a number of different shots from both locations. You can see all the photos in the collection on my Flickr.
