Model Shoot: Kimberly (Round 2)
It was October 7th and I heard that the next day was supposed to have decent weather so I thought why not try to arrange a last minute shoot to take advantage of it. I caught Kim on Facebook chat, who I actually did one of my first model shoots with back in June. She was feeling spontaneous as well, so we made plans to meet up and take some photos in downtown Lexington. Well, as it turned out, the weather the next day was horrible and [unknown to me since I work in an office with no windows] it was raining all day. I began watching the weather and we decided to chance it. As it turned out, the rain cleared up, but there was no lack of overcast clouds. We drove down to a very sketchy neighborhood that I had spotted and found some train tracks and train cars, which is where we took our first set of photos. Below are some of the shots from that location. To view them all, check out the Train Tracks set on my Flickr.

Before my car got stolen or had it’s windows bashed in, we decided to walk back to where I parked and go to the next [possibly even shadier] location. We drove back down a street we passed on the way to tracks and found a few houses that looked awesome, and at the same time pretty dangerous. One house was about to fall down, another looked like a tornado hit it and was in shambles on the ground, and the next was boarded up and consumed by vines. We didn’t have a lot of light left so we hurried over to get some shots around that area while trying to avoid getting tetanus. Below are a few of the photos from the second location. If you want to see them all, swing by the Old House set on my Flickr
