Slightly Stoopid drew a huge college crowd to a full show at Buster’s. Following the Meat Puppets, they slowed down the tempo and mood with their mello reggae that really got the crowd moving and rocking.
Except for some ridiculous red or blue washes during some opening acts here or there, this was the toughest lighting I have ever shot at Buster’s. The light was really dark and dim and what little light illuminated the stage was washed out in competing greens and purples. It’s unfortunately the lighting was so bad, since the performance of the band was so good, but I was able to squeak out a dozen or two shots that were alright.
