Theory of a Deadman topped off the night with their headline performance for the Carnival of Madness. I saw “TOAD” at the same show I saw Black Stone Cherry at a few years ago when I first started shooting concerts, so I had an idea of what to expect from their set. Ever since shooting Alter Bridge at Rock On The Range in the spring I’ve been wanting another shot at them with some proper lighting. That isn’t to say I didn’t like the shots I got then so much as I like shooting bands with their proper lighting design. Adelitas Way followed up Emphatic with a solid set of their own, having more of a harder sound with heavy vocals and technical guitar riffs. They also had a nice combination of two vocalists (one lead and one backup) which complimented each other nicely. Continue Reading »
